Restoration

Many hedges; agricultural, domestic and in other situations, have been poorly managed and are beyond ‘conventional management’ if they are to be returned to good condition. These hedges are in need of restoration – a combination of any of the following: laying, coppicing, grubbing out (part) and replanting.

If a complete ‘remove and replant’ is required there are a number of main stream agricultural contractors who would take on the work – but if the hedge needs a mixture of restoration techniques, flexibility and some ‘TLC’, then The Hedge Man will be a good choice.

We undertake to survey thoroughly and produce a detailed report as a basis for decision-making. We will then provide a comprehensive service – aiming to achieve the best outcome for the landowner, the location and the environment.

The examples and brief descriptions give some indication of the scale of work involved, and the achievable outcome.
