About Us

The Hedge Man specialises in hedge laying, hedge restoration and planting of new hedgerows.

Hedgerows are a very prominent, functional and important landscape feature in the UK and The Hedge Man intends to keep it that way by providing services to maintain them at their optimum potential for landscape and environmental value.

We work with a broad range of customers including the agricultural sector, landowners and residential property owners, development sites, charitable bodies ..... in fact anyone with hedges to maintain in good condition and in perpetuity.

We have operational centres in Yorkshire (York) and Herefordshire (Ross-on-Wye) and work within reasonable distances of these centres. We also consider work outside these areas – please enquire via the contact page.

We can also provide basic tree and hedgerow survey, hedgerow and vegetation consultancy and project management services. See appropriate sections within the site for more information and contact details.
